After the kickstarter campaign ends we aim to deliver within 3-4 months.
I am a firm believer in the open source community, and the benefits that it has toward the innovation in our sector. Everything will be released on GitHub under the CC NC license.
The enclosure is meant to be upgraded and modified to reduce e-waste and to give you, the user, the freedom of repairing what you own. However, we can't provide replacement parts if they were damaged due to an upgrade performed by you. Luckily, in our shop you will find every part of the enclosure sold separately for honest prices, so you can always fix it yourself. What we guarantee anyway is to help you get the full potential from the enclosure.
The team is already working on other features that will be released when ready. Our goal is to make the upgrades backwards compatible with any previously purchased enclosure. We will also set up a community driven upgrade center, where we test and approve modifications for the enclosure.
